Our Programs

The curriculum for students enrolled in a cosmetologist course shall consist of one thousand (1,000) clock hours of technical instruction and practical operations covering all practices constituting the art of cosmetology pursuant to Section 7316 of the Barbering and Cosmetology Act. Technical instruction means instruction given by demonstration, lecture, classroom participation, or examination. Practical operation shall mean actual performance by the student of a complete service on another person or mannequin.

1000 hours students start with the basics of barber with technical instruction and practical operations covering key fundamentals of all barbering procedures, techniques, methods of application, materials, equipment, supplies, and products used in preparation and compliance of the State Board rules and regulations along with all practices constituting the art of cosmetology pursuant to the Barbering and Cosmetology Act. The course of study for students enrolled in a manicurist course shall consist of four hundred (400) clock hours which include a minimum of 110 clock hours of technical instruction and practical operations covering all practices constituting the art of manicurist and pedicurist. The minimum combined total clock hours of 400, include the technical instruction phase and opportunity for the student to acquire the necessary skills through practical applications developed under the supervision of the school’s instructors.

The course of study for students enrolled in a cosmetician course shall consist of sixteen hundred (600) clock hours which include a minimum of 190 clock hours of technical instruction and practical operations covering all practices constituting the art of cosmetician. The minimum combined total clock hours of 600, include the technical instruction phase and opportunity for the student to acquire the necessary skills through practical applications developed under the supervision of the school’s instructors.

The course of study for students enrolled in a body art technician course shall consist of five hundred (500) clock hours which include a minimum of 150 clock hours of technical instruction and practical operations covering all practices constituting the body art technician. The minimum combined total clock hours of 500, include the technical instruction phase and the opportunity for the student to acquire the necessary skills through practical applications developed under the supervision of the school’s instructors.

The course of study for students enrolled in a massage therapy course shall consist of five hundred (500) clock hours which include a minimum of 150 clock hours of technical instruction and practical operations covering all practices constituting the art of massage therapy. The minimum combined total clock hours of 500, include the technical instruction phase and the opportunity for the student to acquire the necessary skills through practical applications developed under the supervision of the school’s instructors.

The course of study for students enrolled in a scalp micro pigmentation course shall consist of two hundred (200) clock hours which include a minimum of 90 clock hours of technical instruction and practical operations covering all practices constituting the art of SMP specialist. The minimum combined total clock hours of 200, include the technical instruction phase and the opportunity for the student to acquire the necessary skills through practical applications developed under the supervision of the school’s instructors.

This course is for students who have already obtained a barbering license and wish to obtain a cosmology license. It shall consist of five hundred (500) clock hours which include a minimum of 150 clock hours of technical instruction and practical operations covering all practices constituting the art of cosmetology. The minimum combined total clock hours of 500, include the technical instruction phase and the opportunity for the student to acquire the necessary skills through practical applications developed under the supervision of the school’s instructors.

This course is for students who have already obtained a cosmetology license and wish to obtain a barbering license. It shall consist of two hundred (200) clock hours which include a minimum of 90 clock hours of technical instruction and practical operations covering all practices constituting the art of SMP specialist. The minimum combined total clock hours of 200, include the technical instruction phase and the opportunity for the student to acquire the necessary skills through practical applications developed under the supervision of the school’s instructors.
